2018 comes to an end. My website is now the 2nd year online. I think it’s time for a review, a review about my stats and a review about my work. A lot has happened, I have spoken for the first time at an Experts Live conference and I have written a book for the first time.
Website Stats
Without much fiddling around here are my statistics from 2018.
Most visitors came from Google …
Here are my top posts:
These numbers brought me to the top 3 PowerShell blogs on this planet (Alexa ranking).
Alexa Ranking – Top 3 PowerShell Blogs
It was worth the effort. In only 2 years I have been ranked on 3rd place, according to the Alexa Ranking.

So, I am very close to two great long-time PowerShell heroes, Kevin Marquette and Mike F. Robbins.
Speaking at Experts Live Austria
In autumn I had for the first time the opportunity to speak at a big Experts Live Conference, the Experts Live Austria. It was great. I introduced my graphical tool for Active Directory Automation: Active Directory Domain Services Section (Version 1.1)

Later I talked about PowerShell…. and appealed to the participants that they should not underestimate the power of PowerShell….
Co-Author: The PowerShell Conference Book
I remember looking up at the authors of IT books … Now I am the author of a book myself and was allowed to contribute 16 pages to the PowerShell book “The PowerShell Conference Book“. My chapter deals with PowerShell and network technology.
It was a tremendous experience. Thank you to the editors for inviting me to write a chapter in a book: Mike F. Robbins, Michael T. Lombardi and Jeff Hicks.
What’s next?
This year I made a big step: I will (partly) change to self-employment, as an independent IT-Consultant and IT-Lecturer. Keep your fingers crossed! I will need it!
Thank you
Last, but not least I want to thank you for following me. It’s great to be part of such an amazing community, helping each other, respecting each other and showing the world the power of PowerShell.
All the best for 2019!
